As the sun rose this morning in the Snohomish valley, the clouds grazed on the tops of the hills and slunk deep toward the valley floor. I watched as the sun hit these brilliant trees, giving them just enough warmth to ward off being eaten by the clouds.
Watercolor seemed the perfect medium to convey the fluid dance between land and sky.
I get to cheat on all your paintings, because I get to see them move from observation to execution to completion. But I like this one!
